SYMBIOSIS - Living Together - Curated by Laura Villares House

The show brings together 40 artists and over 70 artworks made by a diverse group of visual artists working across printmaking, painting, textiles, film, photography and sculpture, with the opening on the 26th June 6-9pm.

Rather than presenting nature as separate, collectively the works propose a hybrid space in which boundaries dissolve, highlighting the complexity of living together within shared ecological systems. The artworks in this show visually reference patterns found across scales—mycelial networks, neural pathways, cellular growth, and planetary systems—suggesting a shared language of form that underpins life.

The show will run until the 23rd of July

The Exhibition has a rich programme of events so please book below to secure your space on the following:

Exhibition programme:

Friday 26th June, 6-9pm: Private View

Saturday 27th June: 10-11.30am: Weaving the Layers: Symbiosis of body, breath & mind through Yoga. Led by Hermione. Yoga is an ancient art designed to unify body and mind into one place at the same time - the present. Using breathing exercises, breath led and repeated/spiralling patterns of movement we will experience the weaving together of the different layers of ourselves - physical, energetic & mental/emotional. Through connection to ourselves we can also experience our integral place as part of the tapestry of all life. From the non-dual perspective of Tantric yoga we are all part of a single field of awareness - threads of the same fabric. The session will finish with a soundbath relaxation. Booking link here

Saturday 27th June: 2pm: Gibbon and Goldfinch Family gig. Activist and guitarist Marcus (Gibbon) met Kids' Concert Company founder, pianist and mother Holly (Goldfinch) whilst running protest singing workshops together in lockdown. They have since become well known locally as a duo who perform, teach and use their music in environmental campaigning. Their gigs include a lively mixture of songs from across the globe. Book here

Saturday 27th June: 7.30pm: Concerts Don’t Cost The Earth E10. Holly & Marcus set up Concerts Don't Cost The Earth to raise awareness and money for environmental organisations and to move audiences to get involved.
