Ripple Effect: Momentum

Join us on the 29th of May for our Private View and Anniversary Event!

An immersive contemporary group exhibition exploring the unseen ways our actions, identities, and communities shape one another. Hosted at ArtWorks East, Ripple Effect: Momentum brings together emerging and established artists across painting, sculpture, photography, installation, film, performance, and mixed media within a dynamic artist-led space in East London.

Returning for ArtWorks East’s anniversary edition, the exhibition reflects on momentum — the small shifts, conversations, and creative acts that quietly generate lasting cultural and personal impact. Through themes of identity, interconnectedness, social change, vulnerability, perception, and collective growth, the exhibition invites audiences to consider how individual experiences ripple outward into wider communities and systems.

Set within one of East London’s growing independent creative hubs, the exhibition combines contemporary art with immersive programming, live performance, screenings, talks, workshops, music, and community-led experiences. Since opening, ArtWorks East has showcased over 200 artists and welcomed more than 6,000 visitors through exhibitions, workshops, and cultural events, establishing itself as a platform supporting emerging voices and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Ripple Effect: Momentum celebrates the power of creativity to spark dialogue, connection, and transformation — bringing together artists, collectors, curators, entrepreneurs, and the wider public within a space designed to foster both artistic opportunity and meaningful exchange.

Perfect for audiences interested in:
contemporary art, immersive exhibitions, East London art galleries, emerging artists, figurative painting, mixed media art, live performance, creative networking, artist-led spaces, London cultural events, and socially engaged contemporary practice and immersivity.
